Section 27-3222. PROTECTION OF DISTRICT TITLE

3222.1The contracting officer shall include a provision, approved by the Director, with the progress payment provisions in the contract which provides that the District shall receive title to all of the materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other items of property under the contract.

3222.2The contracting officer shall ensure that District title is not compromised by other encumbrances, liens, or hypothecations.

3222.3The contracting officer shall require additional protective provisions, if deemed necessary, to establish and protect the District's title.
