Section 29-140. RIGHT TO MEDIATION

    140.1Pursuant to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, an applicant or consumer who is dissatisfied with any determination concerning the furnishing or denial of vocational rehabilitation services has the right to pursue mediation prior to pursuing an impartial due process hearing.

     

    140.2Mediation is voluntary for both parties and therefore, at any time during the mediation process, either party or the mediator may elect to terminate the mediation.
