Section 29-2311. NOTICE REQUIREMENTS -- CLOSURES AND CONTINUITY OF PATIENT CARE

2311.1 A facility or program shall provide written notification to the Department at least ninety (90) calendar days prior to its impending closure. This notification shall include plans for the disposition of patients and for the placement and preservation of patient records.
2311.2 A facility or program shall be responsible for the placement of its patients and for the preservation and the storage of patient records.
2311.3 A facility or program shall immediately discontinue operations and notify the Department if an imminent health hazard exists because of an emergency such as a fire, flood, extended interruption of electrical or water service, sewage backup, gross unsanitary conditions, or other circumstances that may endanger the health, safety, or welfare of its patients.
