Section 29-2324. ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES: HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT -- HAZARDOUS AND OTHER WASTE DISPOSAL

2324.1 A substance abuse treatment facility or program shall ensure that medical waste is be stored, collected, transported and disposed of in accordance with applicable District and Federal laws and guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
2324.2 Waste which is not classified as infectious waste, hazardous waste, or otherwise regulated by District or federal law or rules shall be stored, collected, transported and disposed of in accordance with the District of Columbia’s Solid Waste Control Regulations, Chapter 7 of Title 21 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations.
