Section 29-318. HEARINGS

    318.1Hearings shall be conducted by the Office of Administrative Hearings in accordance with this Chapter and pursuant to rules and procedures established by that Office.

     

    318.2Parties may participate in settlement negotiations prior to a hearing, and may enter into a negotiated settlement agreement or consent decree in lieu of a hearing.

     

    318.3In each matter in which a hearing is requested, the Office of Administrative Hearings shall maintain an official record, and shall render its final decision in writing to all parties, accompanied by findings of fact and conclusions of law.

     

    318.4Each hearing shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of section 10 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1208; D.C. Official Code § 2-509), unless otherwise provided in this Chapter or in rules established by the Office of Administrative Hearings.
