Section 29-339. AIDES AND VOLUNTEERS

339.1Each aide or volunteer in a Child Development Center shall work under the direct supervision of a teacher, assistant teacher, group leader, assistant group leader, or Center Director at all times.
339.2The duties of each aide or volunteer in a center shall include the following:
(a)Assisting the teacher, assistant teacher, group leader, assistant group leader, and/or Center Director as directed;
(b)Providing supervision and appropriate care to the children in his or her assigned class or group, under the direct supervision of a teacher, assistant teacher, group leader, assistant group leader, or Center Director; and
(c)Attending in-service training programs and completing continuing education requirements, as required.
339.3The Facility shall ensure that no aide or volunteer has sole responsibility for a group or classroom, or for the Center, at any time.
