5400.1The purpose of this chapter is to establish the standards under which individual physicians, clinics, outpatient hospital departments and group practices who/which are primary care providers paid on a fee-for-service basis may qualify as managed care providers serving District residents who are AFDC and AFDC-related Medicaid recipients.
5400.2Only primary care providers who meet the criteria in these standards shall qualify to provide services to District AFDC and AFDC-related Medicaid recipients as fee-for-service managed care providers.
