Section 29-5617. MEDICAID PROGRAM AND BENEFICIARIES HELD HARMLESS

5617.1The managed care provider shall hold harmless the District government, the Department and eligible children enrolled in the provider’s plan against any loss, damage, expense and liability of any kind that arises from any action of the managed care provider or its subcontractors in the performance of the Medicaid managed care provider agreement.

5617.2Each subcontract shall contain a provision that requires the subcontractor to look solely to the managed care provider for payment for services rendered.
