Section 29-5833. NEEDS COVERED BY DIVERSION PAYMENTS

5833.1Diversion payments are available to pay an immediate, short term financial need, which if resolved, will allow the applicant to continue or accept employment.
5833.2An immediate, short-term financial need for which an applicant may receive a Diversion Payment (up to the maximum amount) includes, but is not limited to:
(a)Motor vehicle insurance;
(b)Repair of a motor vehicle, but not including routine maintenance such as oil change, windshield wiper blades, air conditioner repair, etc.;
(c)Rent, mortgage payments, security deposit and utility arrearage(s), but not utilities alone;
(d)Work clothes such as uniform, special shoes, etc.;
(e)Special work tools; and
(f)Required licenses and fees.
