Section 29-6016. FAMILY LIFE ACTIVITIES

    6016.1A foster parent shall incorporate each foster child into family activities, including family mealtimes, outings, and vacations.

     

    6016.2A foster parent shall accord the foster child privileges and responsibilities consistent with those provided other children in the household.

     

    6016.3A foster parent shall provide structure and daily activities designed to promote the individual physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development of the foster child.

     

    6016.4A foster parent shall help each foster child develop age-appropriate skills and perform tasks that will promote independence and the ability to care for himself or herself.

     

    6016.5A foster parent shall provide age-appropriate toys and books suitable for the foster child.

     

    6016.6A foster parent may ask a foster child to assume household chores reasonable to the foster child's age and ability, and commensurate with those expected of the foster parent's own children.

     

    6016.7A foster child may receive an allowance appropriate to the child's age and level of functioning.
