Section 29-6248. TELEPHONE

6248.1The facility shall provide a sufficient number of telephones to accommodate staff and residents' use, including at least one (1) non-coin operated telephone within each building.

6248.2The facility shall ensure that a resident has reasonable privacy when using the telephone.

6248.3Adjacent to each telephone, the facility shall post emergency telephone numbers, including telephone numbers for the fire department, police department, emergency physician, poison control center, health agency, contracting entity, licensing agency, CSSD, child abuse and neglect hotline, security service, and ambulance service.
