Chapter 29-63. LICENSING OF INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAMS FOR ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS |
Section 29-6331. MONITORING

6331.1An independent living program shall monitor each resident and residence, including through at least twice monthly inspections of each residence.
6331.2An independent living program shall conduct both announced and unannounced inspections.
6331.3Monitoring shall assess and evaluate:
(a)The residence's general upkeep;
(b)The resident's ability to maintain the residence;
(c)The resident's ability to maintain adequate and appropriate houseware, pantry items, and food supplies;
(d)The resident's maintenance of a balanced diet;
(e) The resident's ability to maintain an adequate and appropriate wardrobe;
(f)The resident's proper personal care, hygiene, and grooming;
(g)The resident's ability to do her or his laundry;
(h)The storage of poisonous, toxic, or flammable substances in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and in accordance with § 6336;
(i)The resident's awareness of the fire safety plan; and
(j)The resident's ability to access public transportation.
6331.4Each inspection shall be documented in the resident's case record. Both the resident and the independent living program staff member who conducted the inspection shall sign the inspection report.
