Section 29-6500. GENERAL PROVISIONS

6500.1The purpose of this Chapter is to establish principles of reimbursement for nursing facilities participating in the District of Columbia Medicaid Program.

6500.2Medicaid reimbursement to nursing facilities for services provided beginning January 1, 2006 shall be on a prospective payment system consistent with the requirements set forth in these rules.

6500.3Each nursing facility shall enter into a provider agreement with the Department of Health, Medical Assistance Administration (MAA) for the provision of nursing facility services.
