Section 29-6609. HEARING RIGHTS

6609.1Any applicant or recipient who is dissatisfied with an action taken by the Department, which affects his or her IDA benefits, participation or requirements, shall have the right to request a fair hearing.

6609.2The hearing process shall be conducted in accordance with rules established in D.C. Official Code § 4-210.01 et seq; except that, if a recipient requests continuation of benefits while the fair hearing is pending, benefits may not be continued after a final determination of SSI eligibility has been made.
