Section 29-7007. REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTITUTIONAL PARTICIPATION - NOTIFICATION OF STUDENT ELIGIBILITY

7007.1The institution shall accept from the student or the Mayor the LOE a formal notification that the Mayor has determined that the student is eligible to receive the tuition assistance provided by the College Access Act based upon the information submitted with the student’s application. The institution may also receive from the Mayor other written notification of the student’s eligibility.

7007.2If the institution becomes aware of any information that raises any question regarding the student’s eligibility under the criteria contained in §7000.2, the institution shall notify the Mayor and refrain from requesting payment and/or withhold payment to the student’s account until given approval to disburse by the Mayor.
