Section 29-7508. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE - FIRST MONTH'S RENT

7508.1Assistance may be authorized for the first month's rent if the applicant is:
(a)Eligible for a security deposit payment as specified in section 7507; and
(b)The first month's rent must be paid in conjunction with the security deposit in order for the applicant to assume tenancy, and the applicant has no other means of paying for the first month's rent at the time it is required.
7508.2The maximum emergency assistance payment for first month's rent under this section shall not exceed the lesser of either the actual amount of one (1) month's unsubsidized rent, as specified by the landlord, or nine hundred dollars ($900).
