8400.1The purpose of this chapter is to help protect foster children from identity theft.

Law 2-22; D.C. Official Code §§ 4-1301.01, et seq. (2008 Repl. & 2011 Supp.)), and section 2 of the Foster Care Youth Identity Protection Amendment Act of 2010 (Act), effective May 27, 2010 (D.C. Law 18-162; D.C. Official Code § 4-1303.03 (a)(16)(A) (2011 Supp.)), and Mayor’s Order 2010-154, dated September 9, 2010.
