Section 3-200. ESTABLISHMENT AND AUTHORITY OF THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS

    200.1The purpose of this chapter is to establish standards of conduct for members and employees of the District of Columbia Board of Elections and polling place officials for their official activities in order to maintain public confidence in the integrity of those persons responsible for the administration of the election laws and the conduct of the electoral process in the District of Columbia.

     

    200.2The provisions of this chapter shall solely govern the political and ethical conduct of the members and employees of the Board and polling place officials and are not intended to be exclusive of rules governing the ethical conduct of all District of Columbia Government employees.
