Section 3-301. REQUESTS FOR ADVISORY OPINIONS

    301.1A request for an advisory opinion shall be in writing, signed by the requestor and filed with the General Counsel to the Board of Elections.

     

    301.2Upon receipt of a request for an advisory opinion relative to the Campaign Finance Act, the General Counsel shall transmit a copy of the request for an advisory opinion to the Director of Campaign Finance.

     

    301.3A request for an advisory opinion shall contain the following:

     

    (a)The full name, residence address, and telephone number of the requestor; and

     

    (b)A clear and concise statement of the facts relating to the specific transaction or activity which constitute a violation of the law.
