Section 3-3710. CEASE AND DESIST ORDERS BASED ON VIOLATIONS

    3710.1Upon a determination that a violation has occurred, the Director may issue an order to the offending party to cease and desist the violation within the five (5) day period immediately following the issuance of the order.

     

    3710.2A cease and desist order shall contain the specific violation which occurred, and shall be delivered to the offending party personally or by certified mail.

     

    3710.3Should the offending party or parties fail to comply with the order, the Director shall present evidence of such noncompliance to the Board in an adversarial and open hearing, pursuant to Chapter 4 of this title.

     

    3710.4After the hearing under § 3710.3, the Board may either dismiss the action, or refer the matter to the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia pursuant to Section 302(c) of the Act.
