Section 3-5510. SIGNING OF PLEADINGS

5510.1Each pleading of a party represented by an attorney shall be signed by at least one (1) attorney of record in his or her individual name, and the attorney’s address, email address, and telephone number shall be stated.
5510.2A party who is not represented by an attorney shall sign each pleading and state his or her address, email address, and telephone number.
5510.3Except when otherwise specifically provided by law, pleadings need not be verified or accompanied by affidavit.
5510.4The signature of an attorney shall constitute a certificate by that attorney that he or she has read the pleading; that to the best of his or her knowledge, information, and belief there are grounds to support it; and that it is not interposed for delay.
