Section 30-108. EMERGENCY MEETINGS

    108.1The Chairperson .of the Board may call an emergency meeting of the Board by informing the other Board members of the nature of the emergency and the purpose of the meeting.

     

    108.2Any three (3) members of the Board may call an emergency meeting of the Board by informing the Chairperson and the Executive Director of the nature of the emergency and purposes of the meeting.

     

    108.3Upon the receipt of a call for an emergency meeting, the Executive Director shall inform the members of the Board of the time, place, and purposes of the emergency meeting.

     

    108.4Notice to the public of an emergency meeting of the Board shall be posted in a public access area at the Office of the Board.

     

    108.5The press and the media shall be informed of an emergency meeting as soon as possible after the Board has determined that a meeting will be held.

     

    108.6The agenda of an emergency meeting shall include only the items set forth in the notice of the meeting.

     

    108.7The Board shall take action only on the items set forth in the agenda.

     

    108.8Prior to taking any action on the agenda item(s) at an emergency meeting, a majority of the Board's members present shall ratify the declaration of an emergency.

     

    108.9The quorum and voting requirements set forth in §§104.8, 104.9, and 104.10 shall apply to an emergency meeting.
