Section 30-2016. DELIVERY AND PERFORMANCE

    2016.1The Director of Procurement (the "Director") may inspect the plant or place of business of a contractor or any subcontractor under any contract awarded or to be awarded by the Agency.

     

    2016.2The Director of Procurement may undertake an audit of the books and records pertaining to the contract of any of the following:

     

    (a) Any business which has submitted cost or pricing data pursuant to the requirements of this title;

     

    (b) Any prime contractor awarded a contract under competitive sealed proposals or a subcontract other than a firm-fixed-price contract; or

     

    (c) Any contractor providing professional services to the Agency if the contract price is more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).

     

    2016.3Books and records shall be maintained by the contractor for a period of three (3) years from the date of final payment under the contract and shall be made available within three (3) work days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to the Director upon his or her written request.

     

    12016.4The provisions of Chapter 23 of Title 27 DCMR shall apply to procurement by the Agency, except as provided otherwise in this section.
