Section 31-1300. APPLICATION AND SCOPE

1300.1This chapter shall be applicable to and governs all taximeter businesses in the District of Columbia.

1300.2The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted to comply with the language and intent of section 105 of the 2005 District of Columbia Omnibus and Authorization Act, approved October 16, 2006, 120 Stat. 2023, D.C. Official Code § 50-381(a) (2007 Repl.) and the "District of Columbia Taxicab Commission Establishment Act of 1985," as amended.
