Section 31-1400. APPLICATION AND SCOPE

 

1400.1This chapter establishes regulations for the businesses, operators, and vehicles which participate in providing black car service.

 

1400.2Additional provisions applicable to the operators and vehicles which participate in providing black car service appear in Chapter 12.

 

1400.3Additional provisions applicable to the digital dispatch services which participate in providing black car service appear in Chapter 16.

 

1400.4The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted to comply with the language and intent of the Establishment Act, as amended by Vehicle-for-Hire Act, and by the Impoundment Act.

 

1400.5No provision of this chapter requiring a delegation of authority from the Mayor shall apply in the absence of such authority.

 

1400.6In the event of a conflict between a provision of this chapter and a provision of another chapter of this title, the more restrictive provision shall control.
