Section 4-302. MEETINGS

302.1The Commission shall hold regular open meetings at least once every other month beginning in January of each year, at such times and places as provided in the notice of the meeting.
302.2The Mayor, the Chairperson, or a majority of the current members of the Commission may call a special meeting of the Commission by sending notice of the special meeting not less than seven (7) days in advance. The notice shall state the matters to be considered. No other matter may be considered at a special meeting except with the consent of all members of the Commission present.
302.3By affirmative vote of six (6) members, the Commission may schedule or hold a closed executive session to discuss personnel or other matters of a private or confidential nature. No action may be taken in an executive session, and no records shall be kept of the session other than a record of the vote to schedule or hold the session.
