Section 6-B1145. CLOTHING AND UNIFORM ALLOWANCES

1145.1Heads of agencies are authorized to provide uniforms or allowances for uniforms to employees of the agency who are required by regulation or statute to wear a prescribed uniform in the performance of official duties.

1145.2An allowance paid under this section shall not be a part of an employee’s rate of basic pay.

1145.3This allowance may be discontinued at any time upon written notification from the head of an agency.

1145.4The head of an agency shall prescribe procedures necessary to administer this section.
