Section 6-B1151. WAIVER OF COMPENSATION

    1151.1Any officer or employee of the District government entitled to compensation may decline to accept all or any part of his or her compensation through a waiver signed, notarized, and filed with the Director of Personnel.

     

    1151.2The amount waived shall not be subject to deduction and withholding for retirement and life insurance, and shall not be considered as salary for the purpose of computing annuities and insurance coverage.

     

    1151.3The waiver may be revoked in writing at any time; however, the individual may not receive retroactive payment of compensation for the period the waiver was in effect.
