Section 6-B2212. DISTRICT CONTRIBUTIONS FOR DCEGLI

 

2212.1For each pay period in which an employee is insured, there shall be contributed from the respective appropriation or fund which is used for the payment of his or her pay an amount equal to no more than one-half (1/2) the amount withheld from the pay of the employee for the cost of basic life insurance coverage.

 

2212.2For each pay period in which an annuitant is insured, there shall be contributed from the appropriation or fund established for this purpose an amount equal to no more than one half (1/2) of the amount to be paid by the annuitant in order to maintain basic life insurance coverage.
