Section 6-B3108. AVAILABILITY OFOFFICIAL PERSONNEL INFORMATION

    3108.1This section sets forth basic policies in regard to the availability of information in the possession of or controlled by the Office of Personnel or any Independent Personnel Authority. These policies are governed by--

     

    (a)P.L. 90-614 and D.C. Law 1-96, as amended, set forth in Title I of the District of Columbia Code, Section 1-1521 and following sections of Subchapter II of that Title; and

     

    (b)The District of Columbia Government Freedom of Information Regulations, set forth in the D.C. Register dated January 27, 1978.

     

    3108.2In addition to the data subject (the employee), the employee's authorized representative, parent, and legal representative shall not be excluded from coverage under this subsection. However, they are more specifically covered by the records access provisions of sections 3112-3121 of this chapter.

     

    3108.3The restrictions on release of certain information to employees set forth in this subsection shall also apply to disclosure under sections 3114-3121 of this chapter.

     

    3108.4Access for Federal agencies may be made under this subsection, but is more specifically covered under section 3125 of this chapter.

     

    3108.5Access for personnel and law enforcement authorities shall be made in accordance with section 3102 of this chapter.
