Section 6-B422. CONSUMER CREDIT CHECKS - GENERAL PROVISIONS

    422.1Consumer credit checks shall be conducted for appointees to finance related security sensitive positions.

     

    422.2Prior to conducting a consumer credit check, and as a condition of employment, an appointee subject to the check shall execute an authorization to obtain a consumer credit report which shall set forth the appointee’s or employee’s rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

     

    422.3If any discrepancies are identified, the personnel authority shall fully investigate until the discrepancies are resolved.  An appointee shall fully cooperate in any such investigation as a prerequisite to employment.
