Section 6-B506. CLARIFICATION OF UNITS

    506.1A petition filed for clarification of an existing unit may be filed by the agency or by the labor organization which is party to the certification. The petition shall be filed electronically with the Board pursuant to §§ 501 and 561. In addition, the petition shall be in the same form and contain the same information (as appropriate) that is required by §§ 502 or 503; plus:

     

    (a)A description of the existing unit; and

     

    (b)A statement of why the proposed clarification is requested.

     

    506.2The Board shall grant or deny the petition following an appropriate investigation and recommendation to the Board by the Executive Director or a Hearing Examiner.
