Section 6-B808. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

808.1Appointments to uniformed positions in the Police and Fire Departments shall be limited to persons who are citizens of the United States.

808.2A person who is a United States citizen, or a non-citizen authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to be employed in accordance with part 109 of title 8 of the Code of Federal Regulations, may be appointed to any other position in the Career Service.
