Section 7-1100. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

1100.1The purpose of these rules is to set forth labor standards, policies and procedures relative to the registration and deregistration of apprenticeship programs and to the registration of apprenticeship agreements and the resolution of disputes thereunder by the Apprenticeship Council and the Director.

1100.2The authority for the adoption of these standards, policies, and procedures affecting the apprenticeship programs and agreements is the District of Columbia Apprenticeship Act of 1946, as amended, D.C. Code, Title 36, Chapter 4 (1988).
