Section 7-2508. CONTINUANCES

2508.1A hearing scheduled to be conducted by the Board shall not be delayed by a motion for a continuance unless the motion is made at least seven (7) days before the date on which the hearing is scheduled to be held, excluding Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays, and, in the opinion of the Chairperson, or any person designated by him or her, the motion sets forth good and sufficient cause for the continuance.

2508.2Conflicting engagements of counsel, absence of counsel, or the employment of new counsel shall not be regarded as good cause for continuance, unless set forth in a motion filed promptly after notice of the hearing has been given.
