Section 8-A101. OFFICERS OF THE BOARD

101.1In accordance with D.C. Code, §31-1543(m), the Board of Governors shall annually elect from among its members a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson who shall serve until their successors are elected in accordance with this section.
101.2The annual election of the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Board shall be the first order of business conducted at the regular monthly meeting held in June of each year.
101.3The Chairperson and Vice Chairperson shall be elected by majority vote of the full Board of Governors.
101.4The annual election of the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson shall be called to order by the Executive Assistant to the Board, who shall preside until the election of the Chairperson.
101.5The election for the office of the Chairperson shall precede the election for the office of the Vice Chairperson.
101.6Nominations for the office of Chairperson or Vice Chairperson may be made by any member of the Board of Governors. No second shall be required for nomination.
