Section 8-A511. WITHDRAWAL

511.1A student who voluntarily withdraws from the School of Law shall be required to give written notice to the Dean and complete the official withdrawal form provided by the Registrar.
511.2Upon submission of the withdrawal form, the Registrar shall review and sign the form, and include the form in the student's withdrawal file.
511.3Upon withdrawal, a student shall arrange for the payment of all outstanding financial obligations to the School of Law.
511.4A student who voluntarily withdraws from the School of Law shall receive a tuition refund of monies paid and received by the School of Law, in accordance with the following schedule:

(b) Third week to the last day of the fourth week after Registration

(c) Fifth week after Registration

511.5A student who is required to withdraw because of a major violation of the rules and policies of the School of Law shall not be entitled to receive a refund of any tuition paid.
511.6The student activity fee shall be non-refundable.
511.7A student who has been assigned failing ("F") grades due to excessive absences in all of the courses for which he or she is registered, in accordance with §602.9 of chapter 6, shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the School of Law on the fourteenth (14th) day after the date on which the student last attended any course or clinic for which he or she was registered.
511.8A student who has received financial aid and who withdraws, or is deemed to have withdrawn, from the School of Law shall be required to repay a portion of the grant or grants. The Dean shall establish repayment requirements and schedules based on applicable federal and other grantor regulations and guidelines.
