Section 8-B1507. APPEAL OF ADVERSE ACTION: NON-FACULTY

    1507.1The adverse action proposed by the personnel authority shall not be implemented until either of the following events has occurred:

     

    (a)The employee fails to file an appeal within fourteen (14) days of service of the notice of adverse action; or

     

    (b)After the employee has appealed and is served with the University personnel authority's written decision on the appeal.

     

    1507.2Filing of the proposed adverse action shall be deemed complete upon actual receipt of notice by the employee.

     

    1507.3If an employee is entitled to further appeal the University decision to the D.C. Office of Employee Appeals, under the provisions of §1603 of Title XVI of D.C. Law 2-139, the effective date of the adverse action shall not be stayed by the filing of an appeal with the Office of Employee Appeals.
