Section 8-B1508. EMPLOYEE STATUS DURING NOTICE PERIOD: NON-FACULTY

1508.1If the University personnel authority determines that retention of an employee in an active duty status pending appeal of an adverse action may result in damage to University property or may be detrimental to the interest of the Board or injurious to the employee, fellow workers, or the general public, the University's personnel authority may take either of the following actions:
(a)Place the employee on administrative leave with pay; or
(b)Suspend the employee without pay.
1508.2If action is taken to remove the employee from active duty status under §1508.1, the personnel authority shall confirm the action taken in writing within forty-eight (48) hours pursuant to the procedures for giving notice specified in §1506.
