Section 8-B2201. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

2201.1The University shall develop operating procedures for the accounting of all equipment and other personal property, in keeping with generally accepted accounting practices, and in accordance with the provisions contained in the D.C. Accounting Principles and Standard Manual as amended.

2201.2Title to all personal property, purchased or acquired by the University, regardless of the source of funds, shall be vested in the Board of Trustees of the University of the District of Columbia.

2201.3The President shall have the authority to resolve all questions about the accountability of individual items and classes of items of personal property and shall designate the Accountable Property Officer for the University.
