600.1Although the University, as an agency of the District government, is restrained from taking any action or using any of its funds, assets, or personnel for the promotion or support of religious activities, in order to help broaden the social outlook of its students and allow them to develop deeper understanding and appreciation of their own faith and the faith of others, religious groups may be recognized for participation in the activities of the University.
