Section 9-3009. COMMUNICATION

3009.1Any communication with the holder from the owner or individual entitled to the funds shall toll the running of the period of presumption of abandonment.

3009.2Communications include, but are not limited to, any readjustments, premium payments, assignments, lawsuits, correspondence in writing or by telephone, or any other type of negotiation surrounding a pending claim or dispute.
