IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

 

January 8, 2013

 

 

To confirm the appointment of Mr. Joslyn N. Williams to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors.

 

 

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as the "Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors Joslyn N. Williams Confirmation Resolution of 2013".

 

Sec. 2.   The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

 

Mr. Joslyn N. Williams

1311 Delaware Avenue, S.W., #632

Washington, D.C.  20024

(Ward 6)

 

as a member of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors, established by section 5 of the District of Columbia Regional Airports Authority Act of 1985,

effective December 3, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-67; D.C. Official Code § 9-904), replacing H.R. Crawford, whose term expired on January 5, 2013, for a 6-year term to end January 5, 2019.

 

Sec. 3.   The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.

 

Sec. 4.   This resolution shall take effect immediately.
