NOTICE OF FINAL RULEMAKING

 

 

The Director of the Department of Small and Local Business Development, pursuant to section 2372 of the Small, Local, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Development and Assistance Act of 2005 (Act), effective October 20, 2005 (D.C. Law 16-33; D.C. Official Code § 2-218.72)(2009 Supp.) and Mayor’s Order 2009-58, dated April 15, 2009, hereby gives notice of final rulemaking action to amend Chapter 8 (Local, Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (LSDBE) Contracting) of Title 27 (Contracts and Procurements) of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) to establish revised LSDBE rules for District contracting and procurement.  

 

No changes have been made to the text of the proposed rules as published in the D.C. Register on July 10, 2009 at 56 DCR 5622.  Additionally, the Local, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Contracting Regulations Approval Resolution, R18-0267, was adopted on October 6, 2009 by the Council to approve the proposed rules without change pursuant to section 2372 of the Act.  These rules shall become effective on the date of publication of this notice in the D.C. Register.
