IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

 

October 2, 2012

 

 

To confirm the appointment of Mr. Robert E. Miller to the Zoning Commission for the District of Columbia.

 

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this

resolution may be cited as the "Zoning Commission for the District of Columbia Robert E. Miller Confirmation Resolution of 2012".

 

Sec. 2.   The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

 

                                                            Mr. Robert E. Miller

                                                            3305 35^th Street, N.W.

                                                            Washington, D.C. 20016

                                                                        (Ward 3)

 

as a member of the Zoning Commission for the District of Columbia, established by section 1 of An Act To regulate the height, area, and use of buildings in the District of Columbia and to create a Zoning Commission, and for other purposes, approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 810; D.C. Official Code § 6-621.01), replacing Konrad Schlater, to fill the remainder of the unexpired term ending February 3, 2013, and to a term to end February 3, 2017.

 

Sec. 3.   The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.

 

Sec. 4.   This resolution shall take effect immediately.
