IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

 

October 2, 2012

 

 

To confirm the appointment of Ms. Barbara Lang to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors.

 

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this

resolution may be cited as the "Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors

Barbara B. Lang Confirmation Resolution of 2012".

 

Sec. 2.   The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

 

                                                Ms. Barbara B. Lang

                                                5300 MacArthur Boulevard

                                                Washington, D.C. 20016

                                                            (Ward 3)

 

as a member of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors,

established by section 5 of the District of Columbia Regional Airports Authority Act of 1985, effective December 3, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-67; D.C. Official Code § 9-904), for a term to end October 2, 2018.

 

Sec. 3.   The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.

 

Sec. 4.   This resolution shall take effect immediately.
