3906401 Errata Notice correcting citation to the Anacostia River Clean Up and Protection Act of 2009

ERRATA NOTICE

The Administrator of the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances (ODAI), pursuant to the authority set forth in section 309 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1203; D.C. Official Code § 2-559), hereby gives notice of a correction to the Notice of Final Rulemaking published on August 13, 2010, at 57 DCR 7206 (Notice).  The Notice adopted a new Chapter 10, entitled Retail Establishment Carryout Bags, within Title 21 (Water and Sanitation) of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR).  The rules implement the provisions of the Anacostia River Clean Up and Protection Act of 2009 (the “Act”), effective September 23, 2009 (D.C. Law 18-55; D.C. Official Code § 8-102 et seq.).

 

The Notice included an incorrect citation to the codification of the Act in the D.C. Official Code. In section 1099, Definitions, of the rules adopted by the Notice, the Act is defined as “the Anacostia River Clean Up and Protection Act of 2009, effective September 23, 2009 (D.C. Law 18-0055; D.C. Official Code § 2-1226.51 et seq.).”

 

Both the Act name and D.C. Law number correspond to D.C. Official Code § 8-102 et seq.). Therefore, the text of section 1099 of title 21 of the DCMR is corrected in its relevant part to read as follows:

 

Act - means the Anacostia River Clean Up and Protection Act of 2009, effective September 23, 2009 (D.C. Law 18-55; D.C. Official Code § 8-102 et seq.).
