ERRATA NOTICE

The Administrator of the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances (ODAI), pursuant to the authority set forth in section 309 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1203; D.C. Official Code § 2-559 (2011 Repl.), hereby gives notice of the corrections to the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) as amended by a Notice of Final Rulemaking published in the D.C. Register  and issued by the Metropolitan Police Department on September 23, 2011, at 58 DCR 8240.

The Notice of Final Rulemaking amended paragraphs (b) and (f) of subsection 2320.3 of chapter 23 (Guns and Other Weapons) of title 24 (Public Safety) of the DCMR.  This Errata Notice corrects the incorrect punctuation marks used at the end of paragraphs (b) and (f).  In the Notice of Final Rulemaking, periods (.) are placed at the end of paragraphs (b) and (f); however, because the paragraphs are followed by subsequent paragraphs, semicolons (;) should have been used in compliance with ODAI’s drafting requirements.  Therefore, this Errata Notice corrects the Notice of Final Rulemaking by replacing the periods (.) at the end of paragraphs (b) and (f) with semicolons (;).  No other changes have been made to the Notice of Final Rulemaking since it was published in the D.C. Register on September 23, 2011, at 58 DCR 8240.

The text of 24 DCMR § 2320.3(b) and (f) is corrected in accordance with the intended text of the Notice of Final Rulemaking.
