552141 Errata Notice: Licensing Fees for Athlete Agents

ERRATA NOTICE

 

The Administrator of the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances, pursuant to the authority set forth in section 309 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1203; D.C. Official Code § 2-559), and the Director of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, pursuant to the authority set forth in D.C. Official Code § 47-2887.01 et seq. (2002 Supp.), and Mayor’s Order 2003-61, dated May 16, 2003, hereby give notice of the following corrections to the text of chapter 35 of title 17 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) which was amended by a Notice of Final Rulemaking published in the District of Columbia Register, and issued by the Department of Health on June 29, 2007 at 54 DCR 6417 (2007 Rulemaking), and by a Notice of Final Rulemaking published in the District of Columbia Register and issued by the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs on February 6, 2009 at 56 DCR 1262 (2009 Rulemaking).

 

The 2007 Rulemaking revised the licensing and registration fees for health occupations, unintentionally and without authority deleting the fees for professional licenses and registrations for non-health related occupations.

 

The 2009 Rulemaking republished the licensing and registration fees for non-health related occupations, moving them from their original location in subsection 3500.1 where they were intermingled with health occupations, to a new subsection 3500.2.  The 2009 Rulemaking did not republish the fees for Athlete Agents.  Because the deletion of non-health related occupation fees in the 2007 Rulemaking was without authority, those fees remain in subsection 3500.1

 

The fees for registration of Athlete Agents are therefore struck from subsection 3500.1 of title 17 and republished as paragraph (r) of subsection 3500.2 as follows:

 

(r) ATHLETE AGENTS:

Initial Registration                                                                       $400.00

Renewal of Registration                                                              $400.00

Application based upon initial application of another State        $400.00

Application based upon a renewal application of another State $400.00

Application fee to be included with the registration fees           $100.00
