    IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

     

    November 1, 2012

     

     

    To reappoint Mr. Donald Braman to the District of Columbia Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission.

               

                RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this

    resolution may be cited as the “District of Columbia Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission Donald Braman Reappointment Resolution of 2012”.

     

                Sec. 2.  The Council of the District of Columbia reappoints:

                           

    Mr. Donald Braman

                                                    3300 Brown Street, N.W.

                                                    Washington, D.C.  20010

                                                                            (Ward 1)

     

    as a professional member from an established organization, to include institutions of higher education, devoted to the research and analysis of criminal justice issues, to the District of Columbia Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission, established by section 2 of the Advisory Commission on Sentencing Establishment Act of 1998, effective October 16, 1998 (D.C. Law 12-167; D.C. Official Code § 3-101), for a 3-year term to end July 2, 2014.

     

                Sec. 3.  The Secretary to the Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the appointee, the District of Columbia Sentencing and Criminal Code Revision Commission, and the Office of the Mayor.

     

                Sec. 4.  This resolution shall take effect immediately upon the first date of publication in

    the District of Columbia Register.
